SEBA 2023 honours 41 entrepreneurs, enterprises

KUALA LUMPUR: Fourty-one entrepreneurs and enterprises across Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak, were honoured today (November 30) at the 10th Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2023.

Among them were Ink Marketing Sdn Bhd which clinched the Most Iconic Business Award, Perlimndungan & Indemniti Malaysia Sdn Bhd which won the Best in Marine Insurance Award, and Happy Family Well-Being Sdn Bhd which bagged the Excellence Holistic Wellness Practitioner award.

Under the Top Entrepreneurs category, the winners include Suria Hani Affandi from Meraque Services Sdn Bhd (Most Inspiring Woman Entrepreneur Award), Harsha Ravindran from Ascendance Pro (Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award), Datuk Gary Gan Kah Siong from Radium Development Sdn Bhd (Most Enterprising Property Developer Award), and Datuk Raj Kumar R. Gopal Pillai from Universal Peak Sdn Bhd (Visionary Leadership Award).

Organised by Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia, SEBA 2023, held with the theme of “Unity Celebrating Entrepreneurs” showcased Malaysia’s most notable companies and entrepreneurs. Guest of honour was Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.

Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia chairman and SEBA founder, Nitesh Malani said SEBA started as a vision almost a decade ago and has grown into a platform that recognises and honours the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses in the various SME sectors across the nation.

‘”Aimed at not only recognising but strengthening the SMEs as an integral part of the economies of Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Indonesia, we are confident that with the introduction of SEBA Borneo Edition, the bulk of entrepreneurs and entreprises will be able to sustain and face the challenges of the future,'” he said. — Bernama
